Dan Gross: Tyson's bride was federal inmate
LAST WEEKEND Mike Tyson was married for the third time and the name of his new bride, Lakiha Spicer, may sound familiar.
Spicer, 32, served six months last year in a federal pen after being convicted of fraud and conspiracy over having received $71,000 for a no-show teaching job from the Sister Clara Muhammad School (47th & Wyalusing).
Spicer's mother, Faridah Ali, served more than a year in prison for being one of two masterminds behind a scam that misdirected $274,000 in public funds from a program to educate adults in reading, writing and math at the Islamic school in West Philly.
Tyson, the former heavyweight champ, and Spicer have dated for several years. His name was bandied about as a possible character witness for Spicer during a 2004 trial in which she was sentenced to four years' probation, but the legendary boxer, who can be seen in theaters now in "The Hangover," was not called to testify.
Tyson, 42, and Spicer wed Saturday in a private ceremony at the La Bella Wedding Chapel inside the Las Vegas Hilton. A source close to the Spicer family says that Spicer and Tyson welcomed a baby around Christmas.Tragically, Tyson's 4-year-old daughter, Exodus, whom he had with former girlfriend Sol Xochitl,
died last month after her neck got caught in a cord from a piece of exercise equipment.

Baskett are expecting their first child.
Wilkinson told E! News' Marc Malkin that "Hank and I are thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child together. Juliet tells Kidd Chris of divorce
Kidd Chris is already breaking news on his new online radio show. Juliet Huddy, co-host of Fox's "The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet," revealed Tuesday on KiddShow.com, where the former 94 WYSP host broadcasts from 3 to 5 p.m. weekdays, that her five-month marriage to Doug Barrett is over. Huddy said that even her family didn't know the news. (To hear the interview, visit PhillyGossip. com.)
Huddy told Kidd Chris that it's "hard to hear every single day that you're a failure as a partner" and that you "gotta figure things out before you marry someone."
She says the parting is amicable and doesn't expect a fight over money. Her TV show, co-hosted by former Fox 29 "Good Day" anchor Mike Jerrick, has been canceled. Its last new episode airs tomorrow and reruns will be shown until September. * On a happier note, Kidd Chris, living
and broadcasting from San Antonio, said Tuesday that he and wife Lene are expecting their first child on Christmas Eve.
