Lots of quarterbacks put up impressive statistics that don't necessarily mean much. (See Texas Tech's Taylor Potts, who threw for 456 yards and seven touchdowns as the Red Raiders abused poor Rice, 55-10.) But Houston junior Case Keenum made every throw count as the Cougars upset fifth-ranked Oklahoma State, 45-35. Keenum - who was redshirted as a freshman in 2006, the senior season for Eagles backup QB Kevin Kolb - completed 32 of 46 passes for 366 yards and three touchdowns to outduel Cowboys standout Zac Robinson, who hit on 18 of 31 passes for 240 yards and a TD.
Notable: UCLA safety Rahim Moore had three interceptions in the Bruins' victory at Tennessee, giving him five in two games. A bit of advice to opposing quarterbacks: Don't throw in Moore's direction, or even look at him.
"I was just sitting back and reading the quarterback,'' Moore said of his thievery against the Volunteers' beleaguered quarterback, Jonathan Crompton.

Senior cornerback Charles Squitiere not only preserved Delaware Valley's lead over Kean, he extended it with a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown in the final minute of the Aggies' 30-17 victory. Kean, with a first down at the DV 20, was driving for a possible tying or go-ahead touchdown when Squitiere, who played his high school ball at Roman Catholic, stepped in front of a Tom D'Ambrisa pass and went the distance.

'Nova rolls, sort of
Here's the thing about being ranked third nationally: You can win big and still be sort of disappointed in your team's performance.
Football Championship Subdivision power Villanova (2-0) might have spanked visiting Lehigh, 38-17, Saturday night, but coach Andy Talley expressed concern about some areas of play.
"Frankly, I think we are overrated right now,'' Talley said. "We were not cohesive enough on both sides of the ball.''
The Wildcats rushed for 310 yards, including 130 by quarterback Chris Whitney and 103 by wide receiver Matt Szczur.
From Lehigh coach Andy Coen's perspective, the 'Cats looked pretty darned good.
"We knew we were playing a good football team and certainly Villanova didn't disappoint us,'' Coen said.
