Homeowners can always get a custom fit

With convenient shop-at-home service, Blinds 4 U helps customers avoid making blind decisions when it comes to their window treatments.

The Montgomery County-based business sells and installs a variety of window treatments, including silhouette, luminette, duette, country wood blinds, verticals, Roman shades and more, said co-owner Howard Voluck.

Blinds 4 U features many well-known manufacturers, including Hunter Douglas, Voluck added.

The shop-at-home window treatment service makes it easier for customers to match colors and styles in the comfort of their homes, Voluck said.

“If you go into a store, [the business] can’t see your existing windows or décor,” he said. “We’re already out there measuring where they will be installed and making recommendations.”

Blinds 4 U offers free measurements and free installation, said the owner, plus guarantees and warranties.

“There’s no back-and-forth from the store,” he said. “Everything is done right the first time.”

Voluck and his brother, Arnold, opened the business together nine years ago. The two work their hardest to ensure not only quality window treatments, but exceptional customer service.

“We will spend the necessary time with you to make sure every choice you make of style and color will work for you,” said Howard Voluck. “One window or a whole house full of windows — every customer is treated with the same high-quality service.”

Blinds 4 U specializes in prompt service and open communication for appointments, deliveries and installations, according to its Web site, www.blinds4u.org.

The business practices a no-pressure approach to sales, Howard Voluck added.

“Typically, a business will charge to come out if you buy something, they’ll take that off the price,” he explained. “They make you feel obligated to spend even if the prices are higher so that you’ll feel like you got something for your money. We do not do that.”

The brothers tout their dependability, handling all sales themselves and personally answering the business’s telephone.

“We’re not pawning it off on someone else and giving the customer the runaround,” said Howard Voluck. “You’re always talking to one of the brothers.”

Early morning, evening and weekend appointments are available.

“We tailor to the customer’s availability, and we’ll go anywhere,” said the owner.
