Langhorne’s Pearle Vision has many services in one location

Pearle Vision can help you “see” what quality is all about.

The Langhorne location is a one-stop shop for eye care, starting with a professional eye exam, said owner Dave Mitro.

“We have the latest, state-of-the-art technology in every piece of equipment that it takes for a complete, comprehensive eye exam,” he said.

And for patients who don’t like drops in their eyes for dilation, there is new technology that can avoid the discomfort.

“We can take a picture of the back of your eye with digital retinal cameras that can detect any abnormalities,” said Mitro.

When it comes to the making of your eyeglasses, Pearle Vision has the latest cutting-edge equipment in the fabrication of your lenses; the staff guarantees that glasses are made perfectly by using computerized equipment.

What separates Pearle Vision from its competitors is the business’s ability to deliver same-day glasses, Mitro added.

“That includes progressive lenses, transition lenses and all other lenses,” he said. “In addition to optical lenses, we also have a full range of contact lenses.”

Regular vision care isn’t just for adults, either, said the owner.

“It is crucial for your children to have regular eye exams,” he explained. “Should your child need corrective lenses, Pearle Vision has the latest styles for children, plus protective eyewear for sports.”

The business also carries the largest selection of designer eyewear in Bucks County, he said, including Fendi, Coach, Gucci, BCBG, Armani, Oakley, Maui Jim and more.

Under Dr. Stanley Pearle, the eye-care company opened its first store in Georgia in 1961. Today, there are nearly 800 company and franchise locations, according to its Web site, www.pearlevision.com.

The Langhorne location is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 215-752-7227.
