For over 50 years, Window Wholesalers has offered quality, not gimmicks
If you’re looking for top-of-the-line products at a low cost, Window Wholesalers has your window of opportunity.
The Havertown business specializes in high-quality vinyl replacement windows at wholesale prices, said owner Mitchell Bloch.
Window Wholesalers, which is family owned and operated, offers double-hung, picture, slider, casement, bay, bow, garden, awning and basement hopper types of windows. The company sells its products in volume so quality isn’t sacrificed to cut costs, said Bloch.
“We sell more windows than anyone else, and keep our overhead down,” he said. “We truly have the highest-quality windows at the lowest price.”
The business sticks to a “no-nonsense” policy when it comes to pricing, Bloch added. “Everybody can advertise a price in the paper, but we give the price right over the phone, and when we come to your house, that’s the price,” he said. “There’s no nonsense negotiating, so it saves a lot of time.”
Window Wholesalers offers customers the lowest cost to start, while other businesses inflate prices to give the appearance of discounts, he said.
“They’ll come in and offer you 10 windows for $10,000,” Bloch said. “Then, after a four-hour presentation in your home, they’ll drop it down to $550 a window, and you’ll think you’re getting a deal.”
Customers also should be leery of the quality some competitors offer at a low price, he added.
“[They] give a price, but it will be their bottom-entry window, and if you want a stimulus-certified window, it’s twice as much,” Bloch said. “We don’t do tier pricing. You get our premium, high-grade window right off the bat.”
Window Wholesalers has been servicing Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware for more than 52 years, and its fabricator has more than 81 years of experience in the industry.
The products are fully welded, plus Energy Star and stimulus-certified, Bloch said. The windows contain “Low-E glass,” a coated material that reflects heat according to climate, and Argon gas — both of which reduce heating and cooling costs.
The window frames also are injected with insulated foam to provide higher insulation value than a standard vinyl frame, according to the company Web site, www.windowwholesalers.com.
The low pricing of Window Wholesalers and the energy savings its products provide can help customers feel confident with their purchases, the owner said.
To start, Window Wholesalers offers a free in-home consultation. An installation date is selected and included in the contract, so there are no surprises, Bloch said.
The business’ installation team is factory-trained, and all work comes with a transferable warranty, he added.
Bloch, who has been working with windows for more than 30 years, purchased the business from his father about 13 years ago. There are now three generations of family working there, he said.
