JD Produce offers fresh eats, deli meats, other treats
Experience freshness and flavor at JD Produce.
The Voorhees-based business offers a full line of produce and a wide deli selection, said owner John Badagliacco.
“Almost everything we have here is Jersey Fresh,” he said. “We deal directly with the Jersey farmers.”
Not only do customers enjoy supporting the local farming community at JD Produce, but they can take advantage of prices lower than those at “big-box” stores and a much fresher selection, said Badagliacco.
The business sells only top-quality products, he said, including homemade deli salads, Dietz & Watson meats and Conte’s Pasta — made in Vineland.
JD Produce is open year-round. Right now, customers can get a taste of fresh tomatoes, corn, lettuce, peppers, eggplant and peaches, the owner said.
Badagliacco, who previously worked as a produce broker, opened the business in April. He and his wife, Jamie, included the “D” in the business’s moniker “JD” for their daughter, Dayna.
The business offers specials and coupons through an e-mail list.
JD Produce is open Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
