Brighten up your home with Catalina Door and Window
Give your home a makeover this season with replacements and repairs by Catalina Door and Window.
The Stratford-based business handles a variety of home remodeling projects, including screen and glass repairs, replacement windows and doors, some roofing, vinyl siding, fencing and home enclosures, said co-owner Craig Secreta.
Catalina offers the latest in techniques and materials, as well as the highest quality products and a personal commitment to customer satisfaction, according to its Web site, www.catalinaenclosures.com.
With Thanksgiving and other holidays approaching, Catalina can help homeowners looking to spruce up the inside of their abodes, said Secreta.
“We do kitchens, wholesale and retail kitchen countertops, specials on granite pricing and cabinets within three days,” he said.
The business puts an emphasis on being affordable and offers 100-percent financing to its customers.
“We are a fully operated window and door company for all standards of living, whether you make $50,000 or $150,000 a year,” said Secreta. “We don’t discriminate.”
Clients can look to save money with stimulus-certified products: Earlier this year, President Barack Obama signed a stimulus bill that made some significant changes to energy efficiency tax credits, including an increase in the maximum credit amount from $500 to $1,500.
If customers are hesitant to replace their windows or doors for financial reasons, Catalina specializes in repairs for screen and glass, said Secreta.
“Money is tight, but fixing your windows instead of doing nothing is still better than doing nothing,” he said.
Right now, Catalina is offering $1,500 off sunrooms and $400 off fencing. Savings on window installments also are available, said the owner.
In-house employees — not subcontractors — perform all sales and installations, he added.
The business offers free estimates and in-home sales.
Customers also can visit the Catalina showroom Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday by appointment.
Secreta and co-owner Bob Nasuti have been in the industry since 1955 and opened Catalina 20 years ago.
