Get your next party started with DJ’s Available of Moorestown
Let DJ’s Available be a party to your next party.
The full-time company, located in Moorestown, offers disc jockey service for everything from school dances and children’s parties to weddings and special events, said co-owner Tina Durbano.
DJ’s Available, which serves the tri-state area, offers free consultations and gives clients the opportunity to meet with and select their own DJ, she said.
“They are very professional, friendly and easy to work with,” she said of the business’s 30 DJs, adding that several profiles and videos are posted on www.djsavailable.com.
For a live look at the business’s professionals, DJ’s Available holds monthly presentations where the DJs perform. The next event, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m., will be held at Savoy Caterers on Route 73 in Pennsauken. There is no cost to attend.
DJ’s Available also will be on hand at a number of area bridal showcases, which feature fashion shows, 50 local wedding service exhibits, giveaways and more. The public is invited to attend a showcase Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Merion in Cinnaminson. Admission is $5 to the public and free for brides and grooms. Those interested can register at the DJ’s Available Web site.
When it comes to the soundtrack for your event, DJ’s Available gives clients the opportunity to handpick their song selection from a convenient, online database of more than 55,000 songs.
“It’s a very popular feature,” said Durbano. “Clients can customize their own playlists and/or do-not-playlists.”
Right now, the business is gearing up for the fall season and special Halloween events. In addition to music, DJ’s Available provides special effects, games and contests for children.
Another popular party pick, according to Durbano, is their new “Rock Band”- or “Guitar Hero”-themed parties in which partygoers play along while watching the video game scroll across large screens.
DJ’s Available also services nightclubs and bars, said the owner.
“We provide DJ service for these places, plus installation and maintenance of any type of sound or lighting equipment,” she explained.
Durbano and her husband, Gene, opened up shop 27 years ago. Since then, DJ’s Available has won a number of awards, including Best of Weddings by “The Knot” in 2007, 2008 and 2009. The business also has a long list of references — catering companies, restaurants, organizations and individual clients — located on its Web site.
DJ’s Available is currently offering free upgrade specials on lighting and special effects. The business is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with some evening hours available.
