Three shootings reported in separate parts of Philly

Police are investigating two shootings in Philadelphia Monday, neither fatal.

Philadelphia police were investigating three street shootings — one of which left a man in critical condition — Monday in separate parts of the city.

The first occurred shortly before 3 p.m. in the 5700 block of Hunter Street in the Overbrook section. An 18-year-old man was shot in the right knee and transported by medics to Lankenau Hospital, where he was reported in stable condition.

About 6 p.m., on Amber and Williams Streets in Kensington, a 23-year-old man was shot six times in the right leg and two times in the left leg. He was taken Temple University Hospital by private vehicle. He also was reported in stable condition.

And shortly after 9 p.m. in the 7300 block of Limekiln Pike in West Oak Lane, a 43-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
