Man, 28, extremely critical after N. Philly shooting

A 28-year-old man was in extremely critical condition after being shot Thursday night in the Swampoodle section of North Philadelphia, police said.
The victim was shot in the left chest and upper right leg just after 9 p.m. in the 2900 block of North 22nd Street. He was transported by police to Temple University Hospital.
Police reported that a person had been arrested. No further information was immediately available.
