Hershey native Christian Pulisic will face some of the biggest names in global soccer in the coming UEFA Champions League season, as Borussia Dortmund was drawn in a Group of Death with Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.

Real, led by Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, will meet Dortmund in the group stage for the second straight season. It will be the fifth overall meeting between the clubs this decade. The Spanish superpower has won the last two UEFA Champions League titles, and three of the last four.

Tottenham and Dortmund have never played each other in the Champions League, but they did meet in the 2015-16 Europa League's round of 16. Dortmund also played in the 2013 Champions League final at Wembley Stadium, Spurs' temporary home this season while its new stadium in London is under construction. The two teams are set to meet in the first round of games, on Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Two weeks later, Dortmund will welcome Real to its always-raucous 81,000-seat home in Germany's heartland.

APOEL of Cyprus is the fourth team in the group.

The rest of the draw served up a full helping of mouthwatering matchups.

Bayern Munich will face Paris Saint-Germain. That will pit Bayern's James Rodriguez, Robert Lewandowski and Arturo Vidal against PSG's Neymar and Edinson Cavani — and possibly 18-year-old French sensation Kylian Mbappé, if his move from Monaco to Paris goes through. They are joined in their group by Scotland's Celtic, another of Europe's most popular teams. Celtic will host PSG to start the group on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

Chelsea striker Diego Costa will face his former — and perhaps future — team, Atlético Madrid, as well as AS Roma. The first Chelsea-Atlético game is set for Wednesday, Sept. 27 in Madrid.

Juventus will face Barcelona, including a showdown in Spain right out of the gate on Sept. 12.

Manchester City will face Napoli in consecutive group stage contests; Tuesday, Oct. 17 in Manchester and Wednesday, Nov. 1 in Naples.

Manchester United and Liverpool, meanwhile, got relatively easy draws in their returns to European club soccer's biggest stage.
