8 p.m.: Ghost Rings. A deeply felt concept-drama and pop concert about childhood and love by the association/rock band known as Half Straddle. Fanciful pantomime animals help the band through a song cycle about closeness, loss, and healing. Part of the Fringe's curated lineup. Friday and Saturday only, so go! • 10 p.m.: The Omega Transport Video Club. Getting a lot of buzz. Call it "assisted watching of super-strange movies." Experience one of four spectacularly eccentric films, followed by an address from Doctor Ray Cathode. A prize with every ticket!
