Tonight's highlights: Classic Ionesco and Euripides' last tragedy.

What to see Tuesday night at the Fringe Festival:

  1. 7:30 p.m.: The Bald Soprano. Eugene Ionesco's six-character masterpiece farce, staged by Philly's all-absurdist all-the-time Idiopathic Ridiculopathy Consortium. Our critic said you won't find a better production of this play in the region. You'll travel just a few blocks north of City Hall to see it, in the upstairs exhibition space at Bethany Mission Gallery, 1527 Brandywine St., 65 minutes, $15-$25.

  2. 8 p.m.: Iphigenia at Aulis. The super-talented Philadelphia Artists' Collective takes on Euripides' last tragedy. Agamemnon must decide whether to sacrifice daughter Iphigenia to appease the gods so the Greeks can set sail for the Trojan War. All takes place aboard the USS Olympia, 211 S. Columbus Blvd. 100 minutes. $25.
