19-year-old man shot to death inside South Philly home

Police are seeking a motive in the slaying.

A  19-year-old man was killed in a shooting inside a South Philadelphia home Tuesday afternoon.

The victim was shot once in the chest around 3:30 p.m. in the living room of a home on the 700 block of Winton Street, police said. Medics took him to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 4:07 p.m.

The victom was identifed Wednesday morning as Kenneth Spann, of the 5400 block of Norfolk Street in West Philadelphia.

Police said Wednesday they have not established a possible motive, nor have they identified any suspects.
