Reenactment of Delaware River Crossing

Every Christmas, thousands of onlookers gather to hear a reenactment of George Washington's speech and watch several hundred reenactors row across the Delaware River. Early arrival is recommended, and the event is contingent upon weather. If the river is high enough, the reenactors will row across. If not, other festivities will take place.

World Cafe Live's Winter Beer Festival

Philadelphia Jazz Orchestra with Joe Bongovi

Derek Gaines at Punch Line Philly

Comedian Derek Gaines, who grew up in Philadelphia, broke out seven years ago when he became a finalist in Philadelphia's Funniest Person Competition. Most recently, he wrapped filming on The Last O.G., a forthcoming TBS comedy created by Jordan Peele.
