Football season officially begins Thursday when the Eagles take on the Atlanta Falcons. That means that the Linc is once again open to Eagles fans. Here's what you need to know before heading to the season opener against the Falcons.

Ticketing

This year, the Linc has completely transitioned to a mobile ticketing platform. Every ticket must be scanned digitally through the official Eagles app on a smartphone for entry into the stadium. In previous years, fans have been allowed to bring paper tickets but this is the first season where all tickets must be electronic. (Fans can also reserve tickets, transfer tickets, donate tickets to charity and post tickets for resale on NFL Ticket Exchange via the app.) More information can be found online at philadelphiaeagles.com.

Food

If you're a foodie, you're in luck. New York chef David Chang of Momofuku fame is bringing some of his signature dishes to the Linc this season. Between quarters, you can chow down on a Fuku Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich, which is made from a Habanero-brined thigh served on a Martin's potato roll and garnished with pickles and butter. He's also serving Fuku Fingers and Fries, which is crispy chicken breast paired with sweet jalapeno-seasoned fries with your choice of house made honey mustard or ranch.

Transportation

Eagles fans can use Waze to navigate to the parking lots at the Linc. The app will be updated with road closures and exit route information.
